MIX CONTEST # 1
So my friend Andrew Johnston and I recently decided to pursue a music listing asking for a “reimagined version of Fleetwood Mac’s song Everywhere”. In order to pull it off we recruited our mutual friend Amanda Mabro to sing it. It was so fun co-producing this song with Andrew as Fleetwood Mac is one of our all time favourite bands. The good news is, we just got word that our version is being considered by the company that requested it which means we’ve already beat out 100’s of other submissions. Wish us luck and more importantly HAVE FUN mixing it!
NOTE: The lead vocal has some unfortunate furnace background noise baked in during some parts of the performance. Luckily, a HPF removes most of the issue, and in context you won’t really hear the issue.
