There were many great mixes for this contest but there was one clear winner IMO, and the popular vote agrees:

#1 osaikkonen

This mix had it all.  When I listened through all the mixes it stood out as having an amazingly cohesive vibe.  Super glued, with perfect balances and tones.  It sounded natural and modern all at once, and despite being super loud still sounded relaxed and uncrushed.  What a mix!

#2 Guillaume Bonaventure

Despite some unintentional drop outs (lol) this mix was extremely nice!  The entire intro felt great, and then when the band dropped it really HIT!  IMO, the high end (or maybe upper mids?) were just a bit harsh/bright for my tastes but other than that this mix was killer.  Were there some false triggers here and there?  Some of the kicks/snare surprised me at times.  BUT, the samples chosen were super nice!  It’s pretty hard to host a contest without Guillaume ending up somewhere in the top 3 – congrats!

#3 soundvibrationsmix

This could easily have gone to tthorpe, but in the end I slightly preferred this great mix from soundvibrationsmix!  The vocal really commanded the song in this mix and the whole thing just felt really easy to listen to.  I like the way the drums and vocals carried the song and all the instruments just babbled away quietly in the background.  Very open clear sound….Great mix!!
