With a production as mix ready as this one I knew it was going to be tough!  Here are my choices:

#1 Zsummerill1176

Killer balance, tone, and punch.  And very nice/appropriate use of FX.  Honestly I couldn’t find anything that bugged me with this mix.  It was outstanding IMO!

#2 RJ Raterink

Very similar mix to my top choice in many ways.  For me it was really tough to decide which I preferred compared to Zsummerill1176.  In the end I almost had to flip a coin lol.  Another classic mix from the legend RJR!  I think what decided it for me was I found Zsummerill1176 had a slightly more impactful chorus, but again it was a tough choice!

#3 JTC

Always really interesting FX in JTC’s mixes!  For me personally, however, I actually found the FX just a bit confusing in this mix.  Don’t get me wrong they were really cool, but I preferred the dryer more consistent FX in my top two choices.  BUT, as always JTC delivers incredible mixes and was for sure deserving of landing (just barely) on top!  Congrats to our 1st prize winner!
