Some quick thoughts from Amanda…

“I thought this was really hard.  Each one had good qualities. I went fast and viscerally.  Some are more obvious standouts to me. This song feels to me like it wants to be bombastic. It’s punky; a little angry and in your face.  So the wider mixes using delay and double vocals more effectively were real standouts for me in terms of the song feeling larger than life.”

Amazing job to everyone!  This was a challenging set of tracks to work with and there were some amazing mixes nevertheless!

For me, this mix had the best vibe.  It sounded the most like a song and the least like a mix.  Very cool trashy sound with great balances and width (despite only having one guitar to work with).  Great job here!

This was probably the most perfect mix of the bunch.  Almost too perfect! lol!  I think if some attempt had been made to fill in the left side a bit more (hass, verb, etc)  it would have got my 1st place vote.  The tone and clarity were really amazing!  Amazing mix JTC!

Another great mix here.   To my ear the guitar was a bit too loud…I found it distracting my ears to the left during the verse.  The choruses felt nice and gelled but the verse left/right balance threw me off a bit.  Of course with only one guitar to work with it was hard!  Left guitar down 1-2 db and this may have got my top vote.
