MIX CONTEST # 1
I recently co-wrote this song (with my buddies Andrew Johnston and Marcel Anicic) hoping it would get featured in an independent film that needed a song with very specific set of parameters in order to fit the scene it was needed for – and so “Stolen Nights” was born. It’s been a while since I’ve written something sorta indie-rock-ish, and it was really fun! We decided to ask one of my new mix clients, an artist named Michael Cooper Lee, if he would sing it and he did a great job. We’re still waiting to see if the song will get placed in this film, but even if it doesn’t it was a very rewarding song to work on – and now you all get to try mixing it! Go!
