First thanks to all of you for sharing your mixes of “Free your mind”!  It’s always such an honor to hear your work when it’s for a song I’ve spent a long time labouring over myself.  Great work everyone!

This mix won me over!  Great balance, excitement and tone throughout.  Possibly the only thing that bugged me (and it was a minor thing) was some of the snare fills sounded a bit too aggressive – a bit too “I’m a sample” if that makes sense.  But otherwise this was basically exactly how I’d hope this song would sound.  Great work Guillaume!

Another killer mix.  For my tastes, the drum shells were a bit distracting.  The mix sounded too open to me…not enough girth and too much emphasis on the smacky drum hits.   Felt just a tad hollow to me.  But this is personal taste and nothing more.   This mix rocked.  Sounded great!!!

It was really hard to choose 3rd.  From an instrumental perspective this was maybe my favourite mix.  The intro, for example, is LOVELY.  What held me back from putting it first is my vocal sounded a bit muffled.   Almost too smooth or something.  If the vocal was more prominent (more midrange maybe?) this may have been my top pick.  GREAT mix!!!
