Absolutely insane mixes guys!  I had a really hard time deciding between these three.  Kaldlyd (IMO) had the best overall mix…there was just really nothing I could find fault with.  The balance, tone, and FX were just all stellar.  I thought RJR was a really close 2nd – he absolutely nailed the deep sub heavy vibe that I think really suited the song.  Just a huge sounding mix!  JTC may have had the best creative FX of the bunch – the ear candy was amazing.  His may have been my first choice but there was something a tad lacking in the low end compared to Kaldlyd and RJR.  I am humbled by these efforts and will for sure be studying these three mixes a lot over the next few days (as should you all!).  Well done guys!

Some of you may remember the band Petty Party from one of our early T-M contests.  It’s really too bad they didn’t last as a band because they are SO GOOD. “Shut me down” features a superb vocal performance and recording – get ready to “do less”, as these vocals already sound great completely raw!  This was one of Michael Leto’s earliest productions, but you wouldn’t know it cause it ROCKS.  GO!
