Despite a few snare fills that felt a tad gunshotty (it’s a word) this mix was just great in every way. The chorus felt really wide and huge and the whole mix really exploded out of the speakers. To my ear it was just a really solid rock mix with no obvious weaknesses. Great job Guillaume!

Another excellent mix from JTC. This mix was smoother than Guillaume’s and for a while I thought it was my top choice. I’d actually love a tonality somewhere between this mix and Guillaume’s. I love the glue and punch in this mix…drums felt great. I think if the vocal felt a bit more exciting this would have been my top choice. Sick job!

In most ways this mix was just as good as my the top two mixes this month. For me personally, the only thing that held me back from placing it higher was the ambience felt just a bit overdone. I think it was especially the vocal ambience that felt a bit too washy to me. Other than that this mix had superb balance, energy and tone. It’s really a matter of inches at the top. Great work here!
