MIX CONTEST # 1
My writing partner, Andrew Johnston, and I were recently asked by a publisher to come up with some sort of “country infused pop song” – so we did, and “Top Down” was born. This tune is just supposed to be a light hearted summer banger that keeps the good times rolling (top down of course). We put everything we had into this production including killer vocals by session singer Steven James (from Soundbetter) and stellar steel/banjo by TM’s very own Bryan Daste. Hopefully, as winter descends upon us, we can still remember what it feels like to cruise down the road with the wind in our hair. Cheers, and happy mixing!
