BONUS CONTEST
This month’s bonus contest song comes to us courtesy of Kenny Royster, who runs “Direct Image Studio” in Nashville, Tennessee. This is the same studio that recorded my original song, “One Hand Letting Go”, from our July main contest. Kenny is an absolute audio BEAST, having personally recorded almost 17,000 songs in his 20+ year career! What?! Along the way, he has been responsible for 13 #1 singles, including “Hurricane” by Luke Combs, which is one of the most successful country songs ever made :-). “Absence makes the heart go wander” is an original song written by Ryan Casper (also the vocalist) and Kenny Royster….and lucky for us, they generously gave me permission to use it in this month’s contest. This is a live off the floor recording that sounds like a finished product right out of the gates. Good luck and happy mixing everyone.
