I am thrilled to be able to offer “Wild Wind” as our Bonus Mix Contest song this month! Written by Ottawa songstress Shannon Rose, and produced by Ottawa engineer Dean Watson (both close personal friends of mine), “Wild Wind” features lovely vocal layers by one of the best singers I’ve ever met. Shannon is the definition of a “natural” when it comes to singing, and is a joy to mix. In this song, the lead vocal is layered 6 times, which gives you loads of freedom to implement these layers as you see fit.
